Junior Series – it’s really close
The third junior series road race was held on Saturday 13 December 2008 at Lookout Hill in windy conditions.
Four juniors competed over 13 kms and in a closely fought out sprint Maddy Marshal held out Lachlan Porter by half a wheel. Jericho Genders-Dibden came in third some 30 seconds back – but he had spent his money two kilometres from the finish line trying to break away. Seven year old Paul Genders-Dibden rode another strong race to finish in 4th place.

The point score after round 3 is very tightly bunched. Mr Consistency Lachlan Porter is in the lead on 26 points, but Maddy Marshal is snapping at his wheel only six points back. Young Paul Genders-Dibden is in third place on 14 points with brother Jericho on 12 points. The race for the podium is on in earnest!!

The next race in the junior series is a road race on Saturday, 24 January 2009 at 9:00 am at Stromlo Forest Park. Race distance will be approximately 15 kms.
