Come join us for a race with a difference - the famous Vikings secret handicap. This is a mass start event where no-one knows what their handicap is (thus the secret part). All riders complete the same course & only when the race is done & the last rider finished will we know who the winner is. So even when dropped, you need to keep pushing as you just don’t know how big a handicap you might have :)
The race starts & finishes at Lookout Hill, Tidbinbilla Road. Riders will head toward Tharwa turning before descent into town, heading back past the
Lookout to Tidbinbilla, turning just past Discovery Drive to return along Paddy’s River Rd to start/finish at Lookout Hill.
The distance for all is ~ 38km.
Details:
• Racing will commence at 10am on Sunday 25th June 2010.
• Registration will open at 9.15am and close at 9.45am.
• Entry is $5, juniors $2.
• Please bring your permanent ACT race number if you have one.
• For safety, riders must have a current Cycling Australia licence. Day and general licences can be bought at the time of registration. To allow time
for processing licences, please arrive early.
