The Forth CCC road race for the 2011 calendar year, the third and last of the twilight races. Stromlo Forest Park is the setting for the start/finish of this race. Points will be awarded for the VCC points score for this race. The twilight races are designed to be shorter and faster races that require riders to test their race craft and concentration and of course the race against the clock by being back at the finish to make a contest of it before the sun goes down and we have to neutralised the race (which will be done at 7:45pm). Given the hour, riders are encouraged to enjoy some time with their club mates after the race (responsible BYO). Racing starts at Stromlo Forest Park entry and proceeds over Uriarra Crossing and then onto Fairlight Road before turning at the ACT/NSW border where the bitumen ends. Riders then return to Stromlo Forest Park. One lap is approximately 28km. Course Map Course map can be found at the attached link Course Map.
