Joining the CCC
Joining the Canberra Cycling Club (‘CCC’) Thank you for your interest in joining the Canberra Cycling Club. The CCC is the largest cycling club in the ACT and offers the most comprehensive racing schedule and development programs in the ACT. Because of our size, tradition and friendly volunteers the CCC has something to offer riders of all ages and skill levels – from competitive to non-competitive licences and junior licences.
Memberships for 2010 are available and are valid from 1 October 2009 until December 31, 2010. Please see below for information on 2010 senior and junior competitive and recreational licences, affiliate discounts, our JC’s program and details for payment.

*A 3-ride licence is designed to encourage people to try racing at club level. While in the ACT licences can be used across clubs they can’t be used outside the jurisdiction of the ACT Cycling Federation. They are valid for three months from the first event. If you purchase a 3-ride licence and later decide to take out a full licence you can receive a discount off your full membership equal to the cost of the 3-ride licence. You must attach your licence to your application form to receive the discount. *Recreation licences are for use by social/recreational cyclists. For example participants in charity rides such as Hartley.

VIP Junior & VIP Women Licences A number of free full memberships are offered each year talented young junior riders (for boys J19 and below), and for Women (under the age 30). The number of licences issued is restricted each year and eligibility is subject to the ACT Cycling Federation.
Where do I send my form? There are two ways to become a member or to renew your membership:
- Sign up or renew online from the Cycling Australia Website
- Print and fill out send 3 copies of the 2010 membership form and your membership fee to:

How can I pay? Payments may be made by cash, cheque or by direct transfer. Cheques should be made payable to 'Canberra Cycling Club.' You can also make a direct deposit into the Club’s bank account, please contact the Treasurer for details. Regrettably we do not have the facilities to accept credit cards. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CCC REQUIRES MEMBERS TO BE AVAILABLE TO MARSHALL ONCE PER YEAR.Without marshals the ACT Government will not permit a race to be legally run.
