Combined Clubs Point-Score Series for 2014

An exciting new inter-club points competition will be introduced this year over the 2014 road racing season. The series will run over 21 events, comprised of road races, handicaps and time trials. There will be points will be for an individual level competition and for an inter-club competition (Canberra Cycling Club, Vikings Cycling Club and ANU Cycling Club). Massive kudos and great prizes will be awarded for those that consistently perform throughout the season.

Points will be accumulated on the basis of:

• Road race:
  • 5 points            1^st
  • 4 points            2^nd
  • 3 points            3^rd
  • 1 point             all other finishing places
• Handicap
  • 10 points          1^st
  • 9 points            2^nd
  • 8 points            3^rd
  • 5 points            4^th
  • 3 points            5^th
  • 1 point             all other finishing places

The inter-club component of the competition is yet to be fully fleshed out but reflect a pro-rata basis for the number race entrants per club.
