The CCC’s Gracie Elvin (Orica-AIS) will be aiming to become the first female in twenty years to claim back-to-back road race crowns when she lines up at the MARS Cycling Australia Road National Championships in Ballarat, January 8 – 12.
In her first race with professional team Orica-AIS, Elvin earned the green and gold jersey following a gutsy solo effort to bridge a gap to a group of four riders moments before the bell lap, clinching the win from Joanne Hogan (VIC) and 2009 national champion Carla Ryan (QLD).
