2015 Peter Blackshaw Real Estate Women and Juniors Tour

Registrations are now open for the 2015 Peter Blackshaw Real Estate Women and Juniors Tour and we are expecting another great turnout.

Volunteers are essential to the success of the event and their involvement cannot be described as anything but crucial. Cycling ACT invites you to come and experience this great cycling event from a unique insider’s perspective and have some fun!

All volunteers will receive:

• Catering
• Training
• Public Liability Insurance
• Certificate of Appreciation

We are currently seeking assistance in a number of areas across the race weekend.  Key Roles:

• Volunteer Coordinator
• Drivers & Mechanics – Lead & Spares vehicles
• Motor Cycle Marshals
• Course Marshals
• Event Workforce

Racing HQ is Stromlo Forest Park and the race courses use Uriarra Road and Brindabella Road.

The event program and duties for 2015 are as follows:

Friday 8 May 12pm – 4pm. Event Setup

o    Start / Finish set up

o    Rider registration

o    Course Signage

Saturday 9 May 7:00am – 12:00pm. Stage 1

Saturday 9 May 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Stage 2

• Start / Finish set up

• Course Marshals
• Traffic Controllers
• Drivers

Sunday 10 May 12:00pm – 6:00pm. Stage 4 & Packup

• Course Signage packup
• Start / Finish Pack Up
