Entries are now open for Rounds 5 & 6 of the Cyclocross National Series. These races are being held at Wheeler Crescent parklands in Wanniassa over the weekend of 11 and 12 July 2015. For more information and entries, head to the event page.
If you have enjoyed the cyclocross races held previously by CORC, the event will still have the relaxed vibe with racing for all levels, a full-length course, as well as an opportunity to see the nation’s best riders compete over both days. The Royal Bungendore Hotel will be providing catering over the weekend.
If you haven’t tried cyclocross, it’s a great opportunity to come and have a go as there will be dedicated races for both Men and Women on mountain bikes. As CORC have always said ‘Not having a cyclocross bike is not a excuse’.
With the family atmosphere of cyclocross in mind, there will also be a “little crossers” balance bike course set up and ready for action all weekend, as well as a FREE kids race on both days.
There will be categories of racing for everyone from kids on balance bikes all the way through to Master 7+ for both Men and Women. If you aren’t sure which grade to enter, the event page has a guide to help you choose the right race.
