It looks like the worst of the smoke is behind us for now and racing should be less affected by air quality for the foreseeable future.
Unfortunately, however, BOM recently posted a Severe Weather Warning for Damaging Winds for Wednesday 22nd during the afternoon and evening. While the worst areas with 80-90kmh average winds and gusts up to 120kmh will be primarily in the alpine regions and Brindabellas, we are still expecting some fairly strong and dangerous winds in Canberra.
As such, we will make an announcement regarding racing by 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. Stay posted for further updates.
