This rolling course profile has something for everyone. In the handicap format it will be important to keep your bunch together and working smoothly over the rolling terrain. Gauge your progress at the turn points and wind up the pace to make the catch or stay out in front.
We are again using the pre-registration system for this event! Please help us out by registering in advance so we can ensure an efficient sign on, ensure everyone is in an appropriate grade and calculate some good handicaps.
*Date:* Sunday 26th April
*Format:* Handicap (slower grades leave first and faster grades chase)
*Start time:* 10:00 am roll away for limit riders

Pre-registered riders will need to sign on and pay race fees on the day
*Registration (on the day):* Opens at 9:30am and closes 15 minutes prior to your grade’s start time. If you can, please register early to avoid the rush and allow us to finalise bunch numbers.
*Course:* The race will be 2 laps of a 25km course for ~50km total race distance. Start at Lookout Hill on Tidbinbilla Road. Head north on Tidbinbilla Road and turn around just after the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. Return to the base of Lookout Hill to complete the first lap. Head out again on the same course and turn around at the Tidbinbilla turn point. When you return to Lookout Hill for the second time the finish line will be partway up the hill.

*Grades:* A to E grade with the following *approximate* start times:
F Grade : 10:00 am
E Grade : 10:10 am
D Grade : 10:20 am
C Grade : 10:28 am
B Grade : 10:31 am
A Grade (Scratch) :10:33 am
Exact times and bunches will be reviewed on the day depending on numbers
and weather conditions. Be sure to confirm your start time at registration.
*Please note:*
-If you have a permanent race number please bring it along.
– Please bring your valid Cycling Australia race licence.
– Riders must be present for the race brief prior to their grade start.
-If you are driving to the race, park your car at either Lookout Hill or
Tharwa. Do not park on the roadside near the start/finish area
-Take great care while driving or riding around the start/finish area and
do not stand on the road
