The Heart Foundation relies on donations and gifts to continue its lifesaving research and health education work. A portion of all entries will be donated to this amazing charity, so you can make a difference just by taking part.  Riders also have the option to make a donation through the Heart Foundation’s own fundraising website.  You can make your donation to this great cause here or set up your own fundraising page for your ride.

The Tour de Femme is a women’s-only twenty four kilometer ride that doubles as both a race and a participation event. In 2016 it will be held on Sunday 20th November. There is going to be 2 races this year all on closed roads. We are going to have a ride for 7yr to 11yrs this will be a shorter ride (~3km). Then the second ride will be the actual Tour de Femme which the elite will race in. There are a range of age divisions with separate prizes that are hotly contested each year.

In addition to those interested in racing, the Tour de Femme attracts a large number of participants who treat it as a ‘fun-run’ on wheels. Everyone who enters by the closing date will receive a T-shirt and a water bottle. It is not necessary to have a club or open racing licence to enter. Riders from 7yrs to those in their eighties participate.

The Race starts at 9am on Sunday 20th November at Rond Terrace (details below) and collection of numbers and Late Entries is from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday 19th November at The Bicycle Centre Phillip 14 Hindmarsh Drive Phillip.

Entries are restricted to riders 7 years and over

  1. When will there be more information published about the tour de femme? Also can I please ask why you changed the dates… people may not be aware considering your website listed 17 Nov for a long time.

    • Sorry but I don’t have a firm date when more information will be available, however we will follow up with the organisers and publish ASAP. The Tour de Femme is usually held on the second Sunday in November, we apologise if any other date was advertised.

  2. I’ve had it down for 10 th November all year…..maybe CCC had the wrong dates?
Just wondering if there is going to be a single speed entry, or perhaps commuter bike ( not sure how you work that one tho) perhaps best dressed casual/ dress rider…just some fun ideas.
